The Next Generation

  • Future Chefs™ is a privately-funded, school to career program working with high school culinary arts students in the Greater Boston area.

    Future Chefs’ mission is to prepare motivated youth for high quality early employment and post secondary educational opportunities in the culinary field.

    Future Chefs™ uses a youth development model in which youth participate in planning, leading and evaluating their program. Students earn scholarships and apprenticeships for post-secondary training. You're growing eggplant? Fantastic! I'm always amazed at how much produce you coax from your little urban garden.


I LOVE eggplant and I love it the most in Thai stir fries. Yet I still haven't cooked with it! I have a feeling this Chinese dish would be right up my alley. :D

And I think it's awesome you only had to shop for the meats. What a wonderful thing.


Wow, beef and eggplant...the dish looks fabulous...would love to have it with a bowl of white rice...yummie!


Just when I need another recipe for eggplant, there it is! This looks like a great flavor profile. Pic looks delicious!
